Created by plant enthusiasts, for plant enthusiasts.

Flona is an Indonesian company focused on ornamental plants and organic products, born in a green house in the western part of Java.

Today we grow flora, fauna and organic goods side by side, guide every buyer on how to care for what they receive, and hand over a healthy, thriving living thing.

To offer and introduce a healthy lifestyle by maintaining the balance of the environmental ecosystem.

FLONA is a name that embodies flora and fauna, and we aspire to be a player in the global market in this field. In flora we focus on rare species from across the archipelago.

Our story

From one green house to nine countries

Never ceasing to grow: what started as an orchid conservation project became an export house for aroids, then medicinal plants, organic rice and a full fauna line.

Chapter 1

An idea grown in West Java

A green house in the western part of Java Island, and an extraordinary idea: expand the market for Indonesian ornamental plants beyond the archipelago.

Native orchids, first

We started with Indonesian orchid species, because their diversity and beauty represent the richness of our country better than anything else we grow.

Chapter 3

A pandemic-era commodity

During Covid-19, aroids took over the ornamental plant world. Overseas demand rose fast, and we turned them into a genuine Indonesian export.

An agronomist and a veterinarian, running a company that grows plants and raises animals to the same standard.

The other half of our name

Flona is flora and fauna. Under open sky in Lembang we raise chickens in modern multi-level coops, conserve rabbits for their excellent meat, and store fish for coastal fishermen.

Multi-level coops on a fully organic system: BIOS 44 Care in the feed, no hormone or antibiotic injections, and a final product that is genuinely healthier.

Rabbit conservation

A plant's hardest day is the one it spends in transit. This is exactly how we prepare every order before it leaves Lembang.

Shipped bare-root

International orders travel without soil: plants only, following international plant export standards.

Washed & treated

Each plant is washed with a special solution, then set in pots with holes so it can keep breathing.

Foam & cotton

Dark foam and cotton absorb every impact along the way, cradling roots and crown alike.

Leaves wrapped

Every leaf is wrapped in tissue to prevent scratches and damage in the box.

Sphagnum & sealed

Packed in sphagnum moss media inside safe boxes. Domestic orders ship potted, sized to the plant.
